收费的并不一定比免费的好，尤其在这个开源共享的代码世界！
打开 Mac App Store ，在售的图像压缩软件多是个人开发者开发的，这意味着压缩”引擎”也多来自开源社区，所以这份解决方案更像是方案整合。
如果你在 Mac App Store 搜索「ImageOptim」，你会得到若干个搜索结果，全部包含内购项目，收费18-60元不等，并且销量不低。
其实，这些都是仿冒品。
「ImageOptim」是一款免费开源的 macOS 图像压缩软件，它集成了 Zopfli/PNGOUT/OxiPNG/AdvPNG/PNGCrush/JPEGOptim/Jpegtran/Guetzli/Gifsicle/SVGO/svgcleaner 等12个开源”压缩引擎”，支持压缩 JPEG/PNG/GIF/SVG 四种格式。
软件界面非常简洁，拖住文件至「ImageOptim」主界面即可开始压缩，它会根据你设定的质量进行处理，完毕后即覆盖原始文件。
如果你对第一次压缩的大小不满意，还可以”再优化”一次。
为了达到更大的压缩率，「ImageOptim」默认开启了”元数据删除”，包括颜色配置、EXIF、位置等信息，如果需要保留这些数据，记得关闭该选项。
「ImageOptim」并未在 Mac App Store 发布上线的原因，我在其官网找到如下的说明：
No, and please beware of knock-offs in the App Store! Apple’s has been selling three already.
ImageOptim is given for free on terms that basically say “you can do whatever you want except taking this freedom away from others”. Apple does not allow such permissive terms. Apple requires all App Store users to accept DRM (copy protection) and legal restrictions in the iTunes EULA.
You can get ImageOptim here, DRM-free. Its license allows you to share it, modify it, use it in any country in the world — even sell it — if you don’t forbid anybody else from doing the same.
大意是说：
1.「ImageOptim」并未在 Mac App Store 上架，请注意仿冒品，已发现3款。
2.「ImageOptim」是免费提供的，其价值观是“ 除了将这种自由带给他人之外，你可以做任何你想做的事”，而苹果不允许此类宽松条款，所以「ImageOptim」选择了不上架 Mac App Store 。
